The current set list is still only in draft format

dropped and others may be added in the coming weeks. We are still in
the process of putting this together and is a long way from complete.
Hopefully we'll be ready to gig by early August 09, if it all goes to
plan. Hopefully booking Pubs, Clubs, Parties & Functions. We currently don't
have plans to do our own material, but you never know... Some pics to
be added here soon and sometime also Pics & Pages
devoted to the band with more information etc.
How did we come by the name? A friend (Neil) came up with it, but
quite simple really. We practice in a venue close to "Arundel Street"
in Portsmouth, so it
just fell into place really. Makes some sense I suppose.

The band does not have any connection with any other
band in the UK with a similar name nor any other organisation in the world with
any similar name. Phew, I'm glad that's out of the way.

Band equipment. Here's a summary of
equipment used by the band.
Mick on Rhythm guitar. Has a few different rigs for different occasions.
For smaller venues he would prefer to
use a Marshall MG250DFX Combo or his H&H 100W 212 Combo, either used on their
own. Along with a Strat of some description, he's built a few Strat style
guitars for his own use in the last year or so and has a few favourites with
different combinations of pick ups. Another choice of amplifier would be a
Carlsbro 300W Powerline amp rated at 150W each side, plus a compressor on the
input side of the powerline amp.
For a slightly larger venues his choice would be the H&H 100W 212 combo plus the
H&H 100W slave amp, giving a total of 300Watts of power, combined with an H&H
100W monitor amp to monitor his sound.
Mick could also use a wireless system to enable him to move a bit further from
the performance area if he needs to.
Mick
Born 12/07/56, started playing guitar around 1971/2 ish, with a
Columbus Strat copy and a 5 watt practice amp. he was then inspired by
50's Rock'n'Roll artists. Sold the outfit after a financial crisis but
picked up a FAL/CMI 100W amp & Cabinet and a borrowed Hofner
Verthin ES 335 styled guitar and jammed With a few friends, Harry Hinds
on Bass, Terry Bridger on Guitar and sometimes John Blencoe on
Acoustic, lasted about a year or so. A few years late jammed with Andy
Elford on Guitar and Steve Newton on Vocals & harmonica doing some
Blues based stuff. Then a few years later picked another guitar up
again, an acoustic which belonged to a dear departed friend at the
time, he still has this E-Ros Jumbo 6 string. He bought a Squier Strat
and started taking it up a bit more seriously again. He bought some
amps bit by bit, first was a Carlsbro 100W Stingray Lead combo for a
tenner in a second hand shop. Replaced the pots on the front panel and
it worked a treat. Around 2007/8 bought some favoured H&H amps and
also built several Strat style guitars for his own use and so far they
work very well. He started jamming with a few others at a local venue
and "Faded Lines" was formed but sadly didn't get far. The search was
on for a better line up, after a few sessions with various people over
the coming months the right line up eventually came to light in May
2009, it's current line up of the band. It just seemed to fall into
place.
Trevor's Rig.
Trevor on Lead/Rhythm guitar. Uses either a Gibson Les Paul or a cherished
Fender Strat, he's more at home with the Strat though. He also uses a Mesa
Boogie 100W amplifier with built in effects and has a smaller and lighter in
weight Mesa Boogie amp for smaller venues and practice sessions.

Steve's Rig.
Steve on Bass. Uses either a Fender Jazz Bass or a Fender Squier copy of his
Jazz bass, with a Behringer 150Watt BX1200 Bass amp.
Steve
was born 3/2/57 and started playing the guitar at age 13. Joined his
first
rock band called pist-n-broke in 1971. Then went on to play with a
soul band called Bouncer and toured the UK and some of Europe playing
college's, clubs and pubs. Plus toured as a support group to
MUD then went on to play bass with Desmond Dekka for several years
then did a tour playing bass with Geno Washington. Since then he's
played with various covers bands: HEAVENS
DOOR (rock tribute playing lead guitar)FREEDOM
TRAIN (reggae playing lead guitar) NOCTURNO most recent indie band.
The bands PA Rig.
This is a combination of several amps. An H&H 100W PA amp, which can also be
coupled to the H&H Slave amp if it's not being used by Mick in his rig, Or a IMG
Stage Line 140W per channel PA amp. Another combination would be with the racked
Mixer unit and from the mixer to another Carlsbro Powerline 300 amp in the same
rack unit. With the mixer rack any other PA amp can be used at the same time as
the racked Carlsbro amp using 2x PA amps at the same time giving as much as 400W of output power if required.
