Sprynter is a newly
formed UK Rock & USA Southern Rock covers band based in S.E.Hampshire.
launched in November 2011.
The band was formed in June 2011.
The basic line up started with Mick, Adrian, Cheryl & Cam. This quickly grew when we added Andy on keyboards and Kelley on Backing Vocals and Dave G on Lead Guitar. Sadly Andy had to pull out due to family commitments, so we started looking for his replacement. Along with a Percussion player, like Conga's etc, to play alongside Adrian our established drummer (still looking @ Nov 2011). Kelley is venturing into uncharted ground. She's never done this kind of thing before, but is settling in very well. During the first month of rehearsals we had some small equipment problems, but these have now been sorted out and we are back on track. Cheryl has played Bass guitar before but would like to venture onto some Lead guitar, she also devised the bands name. Cam has sung in and fronted small bands before and has played some Bass guitar also. Mick has played Guitar for a few years and has in the last couple of years been more dedicated to forming the right line up. Adrian has been sitting behind the tubs for a few years also and has experience in cabaret outfits and other stage work. Dave has worked briefly with Mick & Adrian before and was their first choice of guitarist after another original candidate wasn't able to make it.
Keith E, was added around September ish, and suggested his nephew Gary to have ago on Bass. Gary's attended a few sessions and did a little bit on Bass with us but he's learning the current sets. He'll be taking over from Cheryl who's moving into a managerial/admin role and in the Tech crew.

Some people within the band have connections within the local music scene. With
promoters and other musicians. The main idea is to perform at Local Larger
Venues, Pubs, Clubs etc or even Private functions & Events. Around 2-3 gig's a
month would be nice, we're not looking to make a living out of this, but to have
fun along the way. It's hard work and very enjoyable too.
There will be some more pics added to the Gallery page very soon, and some Audio clips along with some Video clips, which are on the way. Eventually there will be a Events page added to the site once we have started to get a steady stream of bookings. and a few other pages. Even a Comments page, where you can leave your suggestions or whatever.
